Crack filler is a rubberized material which is used to fill cracks in the asphalt which result from the contracting and expanding of the asphalt as it ages. Heated to approximately 150 degrees, this material is poured directly into the exposed crack, filling the joint and creating a seam that prevents water penetration.

Crack filling is an application which should be used in conjunction with sealcoating or performed independently. Through this application, one is able to reduce the amount of water penetration which helps prevent future cracks.
